2009年1月14日，国务院总理温家宝主持召开国务院常务会议，审议并原则通过《汽车产业和钢铁产业调整振兴规划》。会议强调，加快汽车产业调整和振兴，必须实施积极的消费政策，稳定和扩大汽车消费需求，以结构调整为主线，推进企业联合重组，以新能源汽车为突破口，加强自主创新，形成新的竞争优势。
Jan.14,2009,Standing Committee of State Council had in principle passed the'Adjustment and Vitalization Plan for Auto Industry'.The plan has put the rst priority the development of low-emission passenger vehicles,lightweight truck and new-fuel vehicles.It also serves as the guideline to push forward the adjustments in vehicles structure,fuel supplier system and industrial structure as well.
