摘要
高峰均功率比(PAPR)信号是限制多输入多输出正交频分复用(MIMO-OFDM)技术实用化的主要障碍。针对此问题,提出了一种新的基于空时分组码(STBC)的并行选择映射算法。该算法提出了一种新的信号选择准则,选择所有天线中具有最小的高峰均功率比的序列进行传输,进一步降低了峰值出现的概率,具有更低的峰均功率比。同时,利用空时分组码中共轭数据具有相同的峰均功率比特性,显著减少了运算量,降低了边带信息的传输量,提高了系统的频带利用率。仿真结果表明,所提算法不仅简化了计算,而且具有更好的峰均功率比性能。
One main drawback in multiple input multiple output orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (MIMO-OFDM) system is its high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR). A novel concurrent selective mapping (SLM) algorithm with space-time block coded (STBC) was proposed to solve this problem. A new criterion was proposed, which selected the sequence with the smallest maximum PAPR for transmission out of all permutated sequence sets. It reduced the possibility of encountering poor sequences with high PAPR, and achieved good performance in PAPR reduction. Moreover, with the characteristic that the conjugate symbols have same PAPR property, the computational complexity cost and the side information (SI) were reduced significantly. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm has lower computational complexity and good performance in PAPR reduction.
