摘要
提出一种新的基于联合使用载波干涉技术和μ-law压缩扩张技术的正交频分复用(OFDM)系统峰均比(PAPR)降低算法。该方案通过载波干涉扩展在一定程度上降低了系统的峰均比,并获得了较大的频率分集增益。此外,更为显著的峰均比降低在压缩扩张单元获得。仿真结果表明,通过合理选取压扩参数,该方案以较低的计算复杂度有效地降低了OFDM系统的峰均比,同时获得可靠的系统误码率性能。
A novel scheme is proposed to dramatically reduce the peak - to - average power ratio (PAPR) of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signals with a proper combination of carrier interferometry (CI) spreading codes and μ -law companding transform (CT). The proposed method reduces the PAPR to a certain extent and exploits large frequency diversity gains by CI spreading. Furthermore, significant PAPR reduction is obtained by the companding transform. The results of computer simulation show that both effective PAPR reduction and more reliable bit error rate (BER) performance are simultaneously achieved by the proposed scheme with low complexity.
