将我国民族文化典籍翻译成世界上使用最广泛的语言——英语,让海内国外读者了解我国少数民族的文化典籍,使之走向世界,普及民众,是我国翻译工作者义不容辞的责任。
It is essential to have Chinese ethnic cultural classics translated into English, the most widely used language in the world, so as to make them known to English readers at home and abroad. This kind of translation makes one of the important tasks for Chinese translators.
