摘要
明代初期,政府十分重视海防建设,经过几十年的发展,明朝形成了以海上的巡逻和陆上的警戒、城池的防守相配合的一个比较完整的海防体系,这时倭寇没有酿成大祸。但是到了明中后期随着政治的腐败、军队实力的消弱,海防逐渐废弛,倭寇日益猖獗给明廷和沿海地区的人民造成了巨大的损失。
At the beginning of Ming dynasty, the government of all levels placed great emphasis on the construction of coast defense. After the construction of the coast defense of decades, the government of Ming regime had established a comparatively complete coast defense system with patrolling on the sea, guarding on land, and defending of the city coordinating with each other. At that time, Japanese invaders did not caused too much trouble to the government of the Ming regime. However, as the corruption of the government, the weakness of the military forces in mid and late Ming dynasty, the coast defense was gradually left uncared and discarded. The Japanese invaders became rampant and they brought great loss to the government of Ming regime and it people.
