摘要
"举什么旗、走什么路"是事关国家和民族前途命运的重大问题。邓小平提出"不争论"的本意,是在改革开放的具体举措上不要争论姓"资"姓"社",而要大胆地试,大胆地闯,但在"举什么旗,走什么路"的问题上则必须分清姓"资"姓"社"。在当前关于中国改革的争论中,核心问题也是"举什么旗,走什么路"的问题,正确理解邓小平关于"不争论"的思想,对于我们今天进一步深化改革开放,坚持中国特色社会主义道路有着重要的现实意义。
＂What Flag to Hold and Which Way to Take＇is an important question that matters the future of a country and a nation. Deng Xiaoping put forward his idea of ＂No Argument＂, which meant that instead of arguing about the title of ＂capitalism＂ or ＂socialism＂ concerning the measures to take in reforms and opening- up, we should be bold enough to blaze a new trail and make experiments, but as to questions of ＂ What Flag to Hold and Which Way to Take＂, we must distinguish the two titles. In the current arguments about China＇ s reforms, ＂ What Flag to Hold and Which Way to Take＂ is also a key issue. A correct understanding of Deng Xiaoping＇ s idea of ＂No Argument＂ is of practical significance to further reforms and opening -up, and to maintain socialism of Chinese characteristics.
