摘要
1992—1993年用浅地层剖面仪对南黄海中部浅地层进行测量,在70—80m左右的深水区发现了埋藏古三角洲堆积体。结合实测海底地形图及岩芯沉积相资料对浅地层剖面进行综合分析。结果表明,该区域是距今2.7万a左右的黄河河口三角洲,这说明,晚更新世末期黄河已经流入南黄海陆架区。
Duriang 1992-1993, Sub-bottom stratigraphic sequences were measured using Geopulse(ORE) in the central deep wator area of the southem Yellow Sea The result shows that there aretwo strong reflection surfaces (T1,T2) and three strata (A, B1,B2) below the seabed. T1 and T2 arelocated in 1-2 m and around 25m below the seabed, respectively. The stratum above T1 representsHolocene marine sediments, between T1, and T2 are tetrigenous and transitional facies during the latePleistocene and below T2 is the middle Pleistocene sediment. A buried paleo-delta charactrized bypragradational oblique reflection configurations between T1 and T2 was found in the late Pleistocenesequence. The result of core analysis shows that sediment in 0-91cm represents a marine stratumdeposited in the Holocene, tha in 91-125cm a paleo-dltaic alluvial plain formed during the latePleistocene and below 125cm a river mouth bar is 26 820 ± 2 380a B. P. 14 C dating. Thecomposition of this paleo-deltaic sediment is similar to the sediment from the Huanghe River. Thus,it is proposed that the buried delta represents the paleo-Huanghe River delta formed during theregressive periods of the late Pleistocene. According to the record, the Huanhe River was not onlyformed but also flowed on the present-day Yellow Sea Shelf during the late Pleistocene.
