摘要
语段分析法是揭示讲座语篇宏观结构的一种有效方法,根据系统功能观,结合语义功能和语言选择的对应关系,可从概念、人际及语篇三元功能角度对学术讲座语篇进行语段结构的描写和分析。语段分析法对语言教学,尤其是听力教学具有指导意义,即学生通过反复接触具有这类宏观结构的语篇就能逐步形成相应的图式,这一结构图式能帮助他们有效地处理语篇信息。
Academic lecturing is a chief form of classroom instruction, which poses a great challenge to university students in their major learning, due to their lack of discourse structure knowledge of lectures. Phasal analysis, an efficient tool for uncovering the underlying macrostructure of academic lectures, posits that a lecture discourse comprises individual yet interrelated phases as a coherent whole. From the systemic--functional perspective, this paper examines the major constituent phases in a lecture discourse by taking account of the relationship between the semantic metafunctions such as ideational, interpersonal and textual and the linguistic choice realizing these functions. It suggests also that phasal analysis may provide insights for language teaching in general, and academic listening in particular, i. e constant exposures to discourses of such macrostructure for constructing the corresponding schema in the long--term memory will enable learners to better comprehend academic lecture discourse.
