摘要
报道了上转换激光晶体Er:BaY2F8以及Er,Yb:BaY2F8的温度梯度法生长及其光谱参数分析。所得到的Er:BaY2F8晶体的直径为13mm,长度达40mm,是目前国内最大的此种晶体。测试了晶体的吸收光谱,吸收光谱中Er离子的特征吸收峰清晰可辨。根据J-O理论的计算,得到了唯象的晶场参数Ωi(i=2,4,6),其数值分别为1.43×10-20cm2,0.49×10-20cm2和1.36×10-20cm2。重点分析了Er:BaY2F8晶体的各能级的荧光寿命,较之氧化物有很大的提高,其中4I11/2能级的寿命约为5ms,这样大的荧光寿命对于上转换激光的形成极为有利。
The up-conversion laser crystal Er: BaYEFs and Er, Yb: BaY2F8 were grown by temperature gradient method and the spectral properties were viewed in this paper. The diameter of the crystal is 13 mm and the length is 40 mm, which is the biggest one in home so far. The absorption spectrum was measured and the several characteristic absorption peaks of Er ions are clear. Using the J-O theory, the three phenomenological intensity parameters Ωi ( i = 2,4,6 ) were fitted, which are 1. 43 × 10^-20 cm^2, 0.49 × 10^-20 cm^2 and 1.36 × 10^-20 cm^2, respectively. The fluorescence decay times of Er: BaY2F8 crystal were analyzed. The decay time of ^4I11/2 state is about 5 ms in Er:BaY2F8 crystal, which is quite longer than in oxide.
