少枝胶质细胞肿瘤星形细胞上调基因-1表达及其临床意义 被引量:5

Expression and clinical significance of astrocyte elevated gene 1 in oligodendrogliomas

摘要 目的探讨少枝胶质细胞肿瘤AEG-1的表达,及其与肿瘤恶性程度和预后的关系。方法回顾性复习42例经病理证实的少枝胶质细胞肿瘤患者的病史资料,随访患者的预后,采用免疫组织化学法检测42例肿瘤标本和4例正常脑组织AEG-1表达。结果AEG-1总阳性率为45.2%(19/42),OG(WHOⅡ)组和AOG(WHOⅢ)组的表达率分别为35.5%(11/31)和72.7%(8/11)(Х^2=4.55,P〈0.05),表达水平与肿瘤的级别呈正相关(r=0.392,P〈0.05),4例正常脑组织中均无AEG-1表达。42例患者中,失访率14.3%(6例),AEG-1(-),(+)和(++)组中位生存期分别为7.6、2.3、1.6年(Х^2=32.74,P〈0.01),表明AEG-1的表达水平与少枝胶质细胞肿瘤患者的生存时间呈负相关(r=-0.876,P〈0.01)。结论AEG-1可能是少枝胶质细胞肿瘤恶性程度的分子标志物之一,可作为临床评估预后的潜在指标之一。 Objective To investigate the expression of AEG-1 in oligodendrogliomas and the relevance of AEG-1 with tumor malignant degree and prognosis. Methods This was a retrospective review of 42 cases of oligodendrogliomas. Patients' records were retrieved by hospital notes as well as outpatient follow up records. AEG-1 expression levels in 42 human oligodendrogliomas and 4 normal brain tissue samples were detected by the EnVision immunohistochemical staining. Results Nineteen of 42 brain tumors (45.2%) expressed AEG-1. The expression rate in OG (WHO Ⅱ) and AOG (WHO Ⅲ) groups was 35.5 % ( 11/31 ) and 72.7 % (8/11 ) respectively (Х^2 = 4.55,0.01 〈 P 〈 0.05 ), and the expression level was positively correlate with the tumor malignant degree ( r = 0. 392,0.01 〈 P 〈 0.05 ). Of all 42 cases of oligodendrogliomas,14.3% (6 cases) lost to follow up. The median survival time in AEG-1 ( - ), ( + ) and ( ++ )groups was 7.6,2.3 and 1.6 years respectively (Х^2 = 32.74,P 〈0.01 ). Log-rank test and Kaplan-Meier curves anylasis indicated the expession of AEG-1 had a significantly negative correlation with survival time ( r = - 0. 876,P 〈 0.01 ). Conclusion It is suggested that AEG-1 is one of molecular markers associated with malignant degree of oligodendrogliomas, and one of indexes in juding the progonosis of patients.
