摘要
李涵秋是晚清民初过渡时期的重要作家,他在中国小说观念由近代化到现代化的演变过程中,起了积极的推动作用。他创立并完善的社会言情小说不但在形式上是独特的,在内容上也是深刻的,这些小说在思想教育上具有非常重要的教化意义,特别是他小说的教育思想,更有助于呼唤新时代的到来,为五四文学做了理论和实践上的准备。李涵秋本人也因其小说的教育价值,在文学史上具有了非凡的意义。
Li Han-qiu is an important writer in the transition from the end of the Qing Dynasty to Republic of China. He has played an active role in the evolution of the Chinese novels from neoteric to modem creations. He founded and perfected the social romantic fictions that are unique in style and profound in content. These romances are quite instructive in their ideas that help to call for a new era, thus making theoretical and practical preparations for May 4th Literature. Due to the instructive values in his novels, Li Han-qiu himself becomes an important literary figure in the history of literature.
