摘要
目前,ROF(Radio-Over-Fiber)技术已经成为了通信领域的一个研究热点。本文探讨了两种ROF系统。一种是已经得到广泛应用(在日本)的相对来说比较传统的ROF系统;另一种ROF系统采用了新型技术,这种新技术可以让它在没有电力供应(without electric power supply)的情况下工作,具有很好的应用前景。后者的关键技术包括:射频(RF)电路和光电转换(E/O)设备之间的阻抗匹配,超低功率损耗的射频信号(RF)放大器,以及光功率的传送技术。
Nowadays,the ROF(Radio-Over-Fiber)technology has been one of the research hotsport in communication domain. Two kinds of ROF systems have been studied in this paper. First kind of ROF system is raletively traditional,and has been applied widely for current cellular systems in Japan. Second kind adopts new ROF technologies.It has a good application prospect because it can operate without electric power supply. Key technologies of the second kind are impedance matching between RF circuits and E/O devices, ultra low power consumption RF amplifier, and optical power transmission.
