The new material for medium speed grinding roll-MnMo compound high chromium cast iron has been developed successfully. This article has described the smelting, casting, heat treatment process of this material in details. The actual operation indicates that the mechanical property of this material is equal to the level of Ni hard cast iron ground roll, but its cost is reduced by 25%.
