STUDY ON THE RELATIONS OF ACTIVITY AND SURFACE AREA PHASES AND REDUCTION BEHAVIOR OF THE Cu-Fe CATALYSTS FOR HYDROGENATION

摘要 对由脂肪酸甲酯加氢制备高碳醇的Cu-Fe系催化剂进行了B.E.T.比表面测定,XRD,TG-DTA-DTG和Mo¨ssbauer谱学及与活性数据关联的研究.B.E.T.比表面与焙烧温度及活性的关系研究指出,在480℃下焙烧的催化剂,比表面适中,活性最高.XRD、TG-DTA-DTG及Mo¨ssbauer谱学研究指出,催化剂氧化态物相为CuO,γ-Fe2O3和MgO;在反应条件下,CuO首先被还原为金属态的铜(Cu0),接着,γ-Fe2O3被还原为Fe3O4.催化剂中Fe组分以γ-Fe2O3物相存在,在反应条件下还原为Fe3O4,有利于提高催化剂的活性.催化剂的活性与其还原行为密切相关。 The relations of activity and surface area,phases and reduction behavior of the Cu Fe catalysts for hydrogenation of fatty acid methyl esters to prepare higher alcohols has carried out by means of surface area (B.E.T) measurement, XRD,TG-DTA, Mossbauer spectra and activity determination.The study on the relations between the surface area (B.E.T.)and the activity shows that when calcination temperature of the catalysts is about 480℃,the surface area is mediate and the activity is the highest.The study of the XRD TG DTA and M o ¨ssbauer speectra shows that phases of oxidization state of the catalysts are CuO γ Fe 2O 3 and Mgo.Under reaction conditions of hydrogenation,the CuO is firstly reduced to Cu 0 and then the γ Fe 2O 3 is reduced to Fe 3O 4.The study of the relations of the activity and the phases and the reduction behavior shows that Fe exists in the form of γ Fe 2O 3 and is reducced to Fe 3O 4 under reaction conditions and all these are helpful to increase the activity.Activity variation of the catalysts is synchronous with their reduction behavior,and the newly formed Cu°and Fe 3O 4 under reaction conditions are active species of the catalysts.
