摘要
"毛主义"和"民粹主义"是西方毛泽东研究学术界经常使用的两个重要术语。一方面由于语言翻译的问题,另一方面也涉及中文表达习惯,经常会使中国读者对西方文献产生某种程度上的误读。通过对"毛主义"和"民粹主义"原意的梳理,展示了审读国外毛泽东研究作品时的困难以及这项工作的严肃性。
Maoism and Populism are the two important terms often used by the Western academic circle of Mao Zedong study. The reasons of making Chinese readers often misunderstand the Western literatures to a certain degree result from language translation on one hand and the Chinese expressive habits on the other hand. The process of combing through the original meanings of Maoism and Populism shows the difficulties as well as the seriousness of studying the foreign works on Mao Zedong.
