黄河中游多沙粗沙区风沙分布面积约1.0万km^2,风蚀产沙对黄河粗泥沙有一定影响,但为量不大,风蚀产沙不是黄河粗泥沙的主要来源.沙漠地区的河流不可能形成高含沙水流,只有风蚀、水蚀交错地区才是强烈侵蚀产沙中心.风沙区河流泥沙输移比远小于1.
There is about 10 thousand km^(2) of sand area in muddy and coarse sand area of middle Yellow River. Sediment by wind erosion has a definite influence on coarse sand in the Yellow River, but the influence is slight, sediment by wind erosion is not the main source of coarse sand of the Yellow River. The rivers in desert areas can not form high sediment flow, only the areas with both wind erosion and water erosion can become intensive erosion and sediment-raising area. The ratio of sediment transportation to movement of rivers in sandy areas is far less than 1.
