摘要
建立在"中国第一侨乡"的五邑大学,积极挖掘、传承包括爱国爱乡的"根"文化、扶贫助困的"义"文化、开放兼容的"桥"文化、天下大同的"和"文化、艰苦创业的"搏"文化等在内的侨乡文化精华,作为德育和人文素质教育资源,用以构建先进文化育人体系,通过"系侨情、学侨史、知侨心、懂侨务、建侨乡"教育,使学生具有博爱、感恩、通达、兼容、和气、创新、务实等侨乡优秀文化特质。
Wuyi University as an institution of higher learning in Chinas No. 1 homeland of overseas Chinese should positive- ly mine and promote the cultural essence of the land as resources for its students＂ moral and humanities education and construct an advanced culture--based student educating system so that they get interested in the overseas Chinese and their at- tachment to the native land, get acquainted with the history of overseas Chinese, know their feelings, know about the state policies on overseas Chinese affairs, and commit themselves to building a better Wuyi, and cultivate the fine attributes of fraternity, gratitude, good sense, compatibility, harmony, innovation and practicability. The cultural essence of the homeland of overseas Chinese is represented by the ＂root＂ mentality of loving one＇s native land, the ＂charity＂ mentality of aiding the poor and helpless, the ＂bridge＂ mentality of openness and compatibility, the ＂harmony＂ mentality of universal harmony, and the ＂struggle＂ mentality of working hard.
