摘要
在色散位移光纤中,采用分步傅立叶方法对非线性薛定鄂方程进行了数值计算与模拟皮秒脉冲在色散位移光纤中的传输,计算和分析了受激拉曼散射效应(SRS)和三阶色散对色散位移光纤中皮秒脉冲的孤子效应压缩的影响。通过分析最佳压缩因子与孤子阶数之间的关系,发现在光纤的低群速度色散区,高阶色散将成为影响最佳压缩因子的主要原因,而在高群速度色散区,高阶色散效应被抑制,SRS成为影响孤子效应压缩的主要原因。在高速光纤通信系统中,这篇文章的结论可能会在脉冲压缩方面的研究上具有一定的指导意义。
The effect of stimulated raman scattering and third - order dispersion on the quality of soliton - effect compression is analyzed by simulating the transmission of picosecond pulse described by NLS equation in dispersion - shifted fiber numerically by the method of split - step Fourier. By analyzing the relation of the compression factor and the soliton order, we have found that the effect of the compression factor is governed either by high - order dispersion in the low - dispersion regime or by stimulated raman scattering in the high - dispersion regime when the effect of the high - order dispersion is defined. The results of this manuscript will be of certain value to the study on pulse compression in hight bit rate optical communication systems.
