摘要
十八世纪英国现实主义小说家笛福的小说创作取得了巨大成功,原因是除了他对经典小说创作所做出的努力外,他的小说还明显带有通俗性的一面,以期满足人们精神需求多样化和审美多元化的诉求。笛福在小说创作中采用了多种通俗模式的表现手法,这表明作者在神圣的艺术殿堂中孜孜不倦地寻求自己的创作理念,也展现了作者对人生、社会的敏锐洞察和对自然界的深邃理解。
During the 18th century , Defoe＇ s novel is seen as great success in English literature. After the Renaissance , many social and cultural elements are integrated into the English literature. Meanwhile, the realism applied in his novel creation broke the tradition of literature , and he intended to describe the life experiences of the ordinary people. One of the important reasons for Defoe＇ s great success in his novel creation is that despite his efforts in classical creation, some popular consciousness are shown in his novel to meet the audience＇ s diverse psychological and aesthetic demands. Various popular expression used in his novel to illustrate that he was eager to be different from others , which proved that he had profound understanding toward life, society and nature as well.
