摘要
基于1998-2006年的面板数据,运用Malmquist指数方法,对中美航空公司业全要素生产率的变化作了测算与对比。研究结果显示,1998-2006年期间,中美航空公司业的全要素生产率虽然都有所提高,但其增长的驱动因素并不相同。美国航空公司业发展的主要驱动因素为技术变革与创新,中国航空公司业的发展动力主要为对已有技术的运用以及组织管理效率的提升。中国航空公司全要素生产率水平的提高,除继续强调综合效率的重要性之外,也要进一步加强对技术进步与创新的重视。随着产业的发展,技术进步将更加重要,它是产业特别是成熟期的航空运输业持续增长的源泉。
Using the Malmquist index, the paper makes a comparison of total factor productivity between China and American airline industry based on panel datum over the period 1998-2006, which shows that the TFP of both is increased, but the driven force is different. The main force to drive American airline industry is the technological progress and innovation, but for China, to utilize the existing technology and to improve the management efficiency is the main driven force. To enhance the productivity of China's airline industry needs paying further attention to technological progress and efficiency improvement. Technological progress powers the sustainable improvement for the airline industry, especially for the mature one.
