摘要
本文在对阿里巴巴集团调研的基础上,对中国雅虎向生活服务平台转型、放弃搜索业务的核心地位的战略调整背后原因进行分析。通过对中国雅虎在中国搜索引擎市场的生存环境分析,与百度、Google等搜索引擎服务商的比较分析后发现,中国雅虎在非搜索技术竞争上的弱势和跨文化整合失败是导致其市场表现不佳的主要原因,并指出中国雅虎与口碑网的整合中,阿里巴巴集团仍需解决好遗留的文化整合难题。
Yahoo China's Business mode has transformed from search engine service to living service plat- form,though search engine service was the core business of Yahoo China after Yahoo sold it to Alibaba Group.There are deep causes behind this strategic transformation.Based on the field- work in Alibaba Group,the analysis on the living environment of Yahoo China and the compara- tive analysis among Baidu,Google and Yahoo China,we finds that Yahoo China failed in the competitions of non-search-engine-technology and also failed in the cross-culture integration with Alibaba Group.These mainly caused the poor performance of Yahoo China in search engine mar- ket.And the cross-culture integration is still an obstacle on the way of Yahoo China Kou Bei inte- gration.
