改革开放中的中国大学教育——纪念改革开放三十周年

摘要 讨论改革开放中的中国大学教育,是要审视大学教育与思想解放、市场经济体制建立、对外开放的相互关系。改革开放初,高等教育基础薄弱,社会需求急剧增加,促进了大学的变化,包括培养目标、招生、规模、学费、就业、对外交流、办学体制,管理体制,经费筹措体制、重点高校建设以及高校内部管理体制等改革。30年来,大学办学能力不断提高,办学中的开放、竞争和权利意识观念增强。但大学的财政仍不富裕,管理仍不先进,人文意识仍不明确。进一步推进大学改革,必须更准确地认识大学使命,深化内部管理改革,切实改善师资队伍。 The situation of China's higher education since Reform and Open-up Policy adopted in 1978 should be viewed from the relation of higher education with freeing the mind, establishing a market-oriented economy and opening up to the world. In the beginnings of Reform and Open-up Policy initiated, our higher education was very poor while social demands for it increased so rapidly. Significant changes have been made in all aspects of universities in including education goal, student recruitment, school size, tuition fee, graduate employment, management system, finance, etc. After the thirty-year reforms, the management capacity, competitive spirit and open mind of our universities have been strengthened continuously though many defects and issues still remain to be resolved. It is necessary for us to make clear the mission of university, enhance internal management reforms, and improve faculty quality so as to develop our higher education well.
