摘要
本文介绍了CIP的由来以及对地方高校图书馆编目的影响,指出正确的CIP数据不仅能够加快文献编目的速度,而且能够促进文献编目的标准化。阐述了错误的CIP数据给图书馆编目带来的负面影响以及解决的方法。
The paper is to give an account of CIP~ origin and its influence on library catalogue, and point out that accurate CIP data can not only pick up speed of, but also promote the standardization of cataloguing documents. It is also to expound the passive effect inaccurate CIP data bring on library catalogue and put forward several ways to solve the problem.
