摘要
韦伯与托尼都对新教与西方资本主义之间的关系进行了深刻的分析,提出了各自的新教伦理观。但是,他们的观点之间,既存在着许多的相似之处,也有着许多的不同之处。总的来说,托尼的新教伦理观不但继承了韦伯的观点,而且对其理论中的局限性进行了批评。
Both Weber and Tawney analyzed the relationship between Protestantism and the rise of Capitalism profoundly, and they put forward their respective Protestant Ethic. However, there not only existed similarities, but also many differences between their ideas. Generally speaking, Tawney＇ s Protestant Ehtic not only inherited Weber＇ s idea, but also criticized the shortages in his theory.
