The parliamentary elections in Pakistan this year has become a significant turning point of the country's political development and ushered in an era of civil government elected by general elections.The former ruling party has suffered from a humiliated defeat and been forced out of power,and the religious parties have come apart while the Pakistan People's Party(PPP)has staged a comeback and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz(PML-N)has suddenly come into the fore as a new force.The internal political map has been redrawn with growth and decline of relative strength of the various political parties in Pakistan,that will inevitably have a far-reaching significance in the country..
