摘要
研究了不同碱和酸处理对碳纳米管的微观结构和形貌的影响,采用TEM、SEM和XRD对其进行了表征。K_2CO_3、NaOH和KOH在750℃处理多壁碳纳米管时发现:NaOH的氧化刻蚀能力最强,K_2CO_3的氧化刻蚀能力最弱;强碱能够强烈地刻蚀碳纳米管的管壁,使碳纳米管的管壁变薄,变粗糙,并且有孔洞结构形成,同时造成内径扩大。硝酸处理碳纳米管时发现:随着处理时间的延长碳纳米管管壁变薄,内径变大,但是当处理时间超过16 h后,碳纳米管的管径变化不是很明显,但有大量的碳纳米管被短切。碱处理与酸处理对碳纳米管的微观结构和形貌的影响有很大差异,这是由于碱和酸对碳纳米管的氧化刻蚀的反应环境和刻蚀机理不同。
The microstructures and morphologies of carbon nanotube (CNTs) treated by different alkalis and acid were investigated by TEM, SEM and XRD. CNTs were treated by K2CO3, KOH and NaOH at 750 ℃. The results show that the oxidation ability is NaOH〉 KOH〉 K2CO3. The walls of CNTs were etched by alkali and became coarse and thin, while the inner diameter of CNTs was enlarged and some pores formed in the walls. After oxidated by nitric acid, the CNTs' walls became thinner and the inner diameter became larger. Those phenomena became more remarkable with extending the acid -treatment time. More CNTs were cut off when the acid - treatment time exceeded 16 h, while the change of the inner diameter was not obvious. The effect of the acid treatment on the structures and morphologies of CNTs is different from that of the alkali treatment due to the different reaction environment and oxidation mechanism.
