The author analyzes how to carry out the centerline layout and the leveling in the pre-construction stage, introduces the process and method of the restoration alignment and the leveling in the expressway construction, describes the common problems and the solution in the process of the survey setting out, to reduce the error and to improve the measurement accuracy.
