摘要
林纾曾是名重一时的文章泰斗,他的文论著作极其丰富,但研究者们往往更关注他的"林译小说"。新中国成立后到文革结束之前,大陆地区对林纾古文论研究停滞不前,反而在港台地区蓬勃发展。20世纪八、九十年代以来,林纾古文论研究在内容的扩展、方法的提升、角度的丰富都有不俗的表现,但也存在一些亟待解决的问题,如厘清林纾研究中那些含混不清的问题,更准确地界定林纾在传统文学史上的地位,使研究向纵深方向发展等等。
Linshu was reputed as the prince of writers with a great fame among his contemporaries. Though he had produced a large number of critical articles on ancient Chinese proses, most of Linshu＇s researchers were more concerned about his translated versions. From 1949 to the end of Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution, the researches on Lin＇s classical literary theory had stopped in Mainland, but flourished in Hong Kong and Taiwan. The past decade has seen the extension of the scopes, the improvement of the ways and the variety of the angles in the study. However, we still have some problems unsolved, for instance, how to clear out the ambiguous parts in the study, how to define a reasonable role Linshu plays in the traditional Chinese literary history, how to make the research advance in a greater depth etc. all of which will be discussed in the essay.
