摘要
控制平面与数据平面的转发表同步问题是影响分布式路由器可靠性与可扩展性的重要因素。通过分析分布式路由器的结构特点及各功能实体的逻辑关系,提出一种基于组播的分布式路由器转发表快速同步方法(RIMcast),并进行了总体设计。理论与仿真分析表明,RIMcast方法对于多块分布式路由器接口板具有良好的时延特性。
The synchronization of forwarding table between control plane and forwarding plane is an important factor that influences the data forwarding reliability and the scalability. By analyzing the structure and the logical relationship of each functional entity in distributed router, this paper proposes a fast synchronization method of forwarding table named RIMcast, and gives a macroscopical design. It is indicated that RIMcast has good delay characteristic for multiple interface card of distributed router from the analysis of theoretic mathematical model and simulation about RIMcast.
