摘要
珠江三角洲第四纪地层可划分为三个沉积旋回,分别对应于三次海水进退旋回和三次气候暖冷交替旋回;三角洲盆地边界及其内部的分割性断裂构造有同沉积活动属性,地表探测难以找出其活动的直接地质依据;本区晚更新世晚期地层的古气候记录暗示,地球演化本身正在使现今气温逐渐升高,其力量远超过人类的影响。
Quarternary strata of Pearl River delta can be divided into three cycles of sedimentation which correspond respeetively to three times of marine transgression and regression and also to the variations of climatic warmness and coldness in the same area. The faults in this area are synsedimentary and it is difficult to find out direct evidences of their activities in the late Quarternary. The records of ancient climates in the strata indicate that the evolution of the earth is making its current temperature keep rising gradually and this effect is much more powerful than that from human beings.
