摘要
总结1960-01/2001-12应用水牛角夹移植修复(固定)骨缺损30例治疗效果。随访19例,其中颅骨成形11例随访1.6年以上,其他骨缺损8例最长随访达43年。全部病例伤口均为一期愈合。患者术后4~8周X射线摄片观察,植入物与骨结合界面均可见少量或中等量骨痂增生。植入物长期埋藏于人体,对宿主未产生明显的有害反应,亦未见植入物发生腐蚀、变形、破裂等现象,患肢功能均恢复良好。结果表明水牛角夹对人体具有良好的化学稳定性和组织相容性,机械性能强,可作为生物医用骨移植和内固定材料。
Thirty cases of bone defects repair (fixation) treated with buffalo horn clamp were adopted in this review between January 1960 and December 2001. Nineteen of them received the follow-ups, including 11 cases for more than 1.6 years and 8 cases for 43 years. All cases achieved the primary healing. X-ray results at postoperative 4-8 years demonstrated a small or medium quantity of hypercallosis on the interface between the grafts and the host bone. No adverse reaction occurred after the long-term follow-up observation. The grafts seldom showed a corrosion, deformation or rupture. Affected limbs with bone defects appeared satisfactory results of functional restoration. Buffalo horn clamp has a good chemical stability and histocompatibility on the human body, as well as strong mechanical properties. Buffalo horns can be used as a biomedical bone graft and internal fixation material.
