摘要
程朱理学继承孔孟道统,专讲义理性命之学。它将人际伦理提升到宇宙本体论的哲学高度来重整人际伦常秩序,确立人的道德主体性。程朱理学既有以道德相对主义(社会性道德)把自然道德化的"真善相悖"的一面,也有以绝对道德主义(宗教性道德)把自然审美化的"美善相乐"的一面。程朱理学完全可与康德的德道哲学相媲美,它构筑了可与天地比肩的人类伟大尊严,追求哲学敬畏人生、宗教超越人生、艺术赞美人生的崇高精神境界。它最富有思辨性的与时俱进的创新精神,体现了当时的时代精神的精华。
Neo-Confucianism succeeds the Confucius-Mencius theory and studies truth and life. It raises man's ethics to the level of universal ontology to reestablish the natural ethical order and man's moral subjectivity. Neo-Confucianism explores both the moral aspect of nature with moral relativism ( social morality) , which interprets the conflict between truth and good, and the aesthetic aspect of nature with absolute morals (religious morality) , which interprets the harmony between beauty and good. Fully comparable with Kant's moral philosophy, Neo-Confucianism constructs the great human dignity, and pursues the sublime spiritual state of life in which philosophy holds life in awe, religion transcends life and arts appreciate life. Reflective and creative, it embodies the spirit of the time.
