Study on the Dynamic Change of the International Energy Efficiency

摘要 本文应用DEA-Malmquist方法测算了1997~2006年12个国家的能源利用效率及变动指数,最后检验了相关变动指数的收敛性。结果表明:与其他国家相比,中国能源利用效率在整体上没有明显提高,能源利用技术进步增长率的下降是中国能源利用效率未得到提高的主要原因;能源利用技术效率处于中等水平,其增长率最大;能源利用纯技术效率则处于较低的水平,增长率也相对较低;在长期中能源利用效率存在趋同的收敛性,但短期这种趋势不明显。 This paper selects 12 countries as the sample and calculate the corresponding efficiency and changing indexes of the country from 1997 to 2006 based on DEA-Malmquist method, and at last the convergence of the relevant index was tested. The result shows. Compared with other countries, the technical level of China's energy efficiency is in the middle level, the growth rate is highest, but the pure technical efficiency is at a lower level, its growth rate is relatively slow; The rate of technological progress is the main reason which affects the China's energy efficiency under the premise of rapid growth of the energy efficiency ; In the longterm around there exists convergence in the world energy efficiency, but this trend is not obvious in the short terms.
