摘要 左翼电影与其说是着力于单纯的意识形态解读和政治宣传,其实还不如说是同时迎合、满足了电影市场及其观众对新理念、新思想和新人物的渴望和需求。譬如《母性之光》实际上是将刚刚兴起的阶级、阶级对立和阶级斗争观念与行为意识,套用旧市民电影常用的家庭婚姻叙事模式予以个案重演和主题置换,结果自然是标新立异、具有新鲜的时代气息:它的演绎未必符合历史真实,但却收到思想传播和电影市场一石二鸟的效果。 Left-wing movies not only focused on ideology and political propaganda but also satisfied the desire that audience of that time pursued new concepts, new ideas and new characters. Mother's Love described the awareness of new concepts and behaviors concerning social class, class opposition and class conflict with the old urban movie approach whose narrative subject was often based on family and marriage. In this way, the movie appeared differently and was full of fresh air in new times. The movie succeeded in disseminating new ideas and developing a new market, even though the story was not necessarily true.
