摘要
背景化从本质上说就是以句法上的低范畴等级形式将背景信息进行包装。在以动词屈折为形态手段的语言里,信息包装可以通过谓词的非限定形式作句法降级。本文认为,小句主语零形反指和描写性关系从句这两种句法形式是书面语中由背景化需求驱动的句法降级,反映了汉语信息包装的特点。
Foreground information and background information in narrative discourses are presented in different grammatical ways universally. In this paper, two emergent grammatical structures, the cataphoric zero subject clause and the descriptive relative clause, are considered as means of backgrounding in Chinese narratives. It suggests that these two expressions characterize ways of information packaging in a language with no grammatical inflection.
