摘要
以线列基阵为例,对延迟采样相移波束形成器的波束主轴的幅值和主轴方位随频率的变化进行了理论分析,并与实验结果进行了对比。
In the many applications of doppler shift, precisely pointing the main axis of beam pattern of phaseshift beamformer is important. It requires accurate estimation of effect of delay sampling, doppler frequency shift, etc on the main axis of beam pattern of phaseshift beamformer. Although quadrature sampling is usually used for such accurate estimation, it is inconvenient because quadrature demodulation must be performed first. To obviate the need of quadrature demodulation we selected delay sampling, which is approximate and is shown schematically in Fig.1. In order to estimate the output amplitude and pointing direction of beam pattern of phaseshift beamformer, we derived mathematically eq.(8). With eq.(8) we computed results as shown in Table 1 that agreed well with our test data of beam pattern for four different conditions in Fig.4.
