Synaptic vesicle cycle in nerve endings is a processs of multiple steps including docking, exocytosis, endocytosis and vesicle recruitment. It is mediated by protein protein cascade reactions of vesicles, axoplasm and presynaptic membrane. The molecular model for the key steps of synaptic vesicle cycle is presented and can be used as the basis for furthering our knowledge about the activities of central nervous system.
