摘要
本文利用氩氧混合低能离子束对双酚A型聚碳酸酯(PC)透明材料进行表面改性,主要研究了改性前后表面润湿性的变化。结果表明,改性后的PC表面润湿性能得到了明显的改善,经XPS分析发现,改性后的PC表面生成了大量的含氧极性基团,使得表面含氧量有了很大的提高。原子力显微镜(AFM)的测试结果表明,改性后的PC表面粗糙度先减小后增大。
The surface of bisphenol A-type polycarbonate was modified by low energy argon and oxygen ions beam irradiation. Its surface mierostmetures and wetting characteristics were characterized with X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and atomic force mieroseopy(AFM).The results show that the surface modification significantly improves its surface hydrophilieity. For example, its water contact angle drops from 82° to 8°. Possible mechanism is that the ion beam bombardment results in formation of a variety of different polarized oxygen reactive groups, which in turn rapidly increases surface oxygen content. However, the high density of surface defects, created by the ion beam irradiation and chemical etching, little affects the water contact angle.
