摘要 设计了基于通用多媒体查询语言(UMQL)的可视化多媒体查询(VMQ)语言,并给出了VMQ实现环境的总体结构.参考UMQL的多媒体查询表达方式,VMQ首先定义了一系列语言元素,可以较好地描述多媒体数据的内容信息、结构信息和时空信息;然后将这些语言元素逐一图示化,给用户提供了一个自然的可视化查询界面,方便用户的查询操作;最后给出了VMQ的实现环境的总体结构,并讨论了界面编辑器、语法检查器、语言翻译器和显示界面等主要部件的关键技术和实现方法. A visual multimedia query language called VMQ was designed and implemented by using unified multimedia query language(UMQL).A series of language elements was defined to precisely specify the content,structure and spatio-temporal information contained in various multimedia data.Icon-based denotations were used to visualize these elements,supplying a natural visual interface for users.The framework of the VMQ implementation environment is proposed.The key techniques and methods of the environment such as interface editor,grammar checker,translater and result interface,were also disccused.
