露天矿矿体计算机模型的建立是进行矿床开采境界优化及制定矿山生产计划的基础。为实现矿山生产现代化管理，德兴铜矿建立了大型露天矿山矿体计算机模型，并获得成功应用，对类似矿山具有参考意义。
