Surface Recarburization of Wear-resistant Bainite Steel Castings in Lost Foam Casting

摘要 对几类不同结构的消失模铸钢件在不同条件下的表面增碳情况进行了研究,分析了该类铸钢件表面增碳的影响因素,并测试了力学性能。同时,比较了砂型铸造与消失模铸造的齿条的力学性能,探讨了消失模铸造对铸件力学性能的影响。试验结果表明,铸件结构(如尺寸、形状和比表面积)、浇注系统、钢液原始含碳量、模样密度等不同程度地影响铸钢件的表面增碳幅度,表面增碳的不均匀性导致了力学性能的不均匀性。此外,消失模铸件比砂型铸件表面硬度明显提高,并具有一定的冲击韧度。 The effects of processing parameters on surface recarburization of bainite wear-resistant steel castings with different shapes were examined in lost foam casting, and the mechanical properties of the castings were measured. Meanwhile, the effects of lost foam casting process on the mechanical properties of the castings were approached by comparing mechanical properties of rack in sand casting and in lost foam casting. The results reveal that the surface recarburization is closely related to the casting structures including shape and size, specific area, gating system, initial carbon content in molten steel as well as pattern density. The un-uniformity of surface recarburization in the castings is responsible for the heterogeneous mechanical properties in lost foam casting. Compared with that of ones in sand casting, the surface hardness of the castings in lost foam casting is obviously improved with good impact toughness.
