Hardwood is more appropriate to be used as raw material for large scale paper mill than annual plants owing to the fact that it can be collected and transported easily by mechanized means.Hardwood pulp has the advantages of better runnability on paper machine,better printability of the formed paper and other apparent qualities.The rapid development of chemi mechanical pulping technology in recent years has expanded the use of hardwood in cultural paper grades.China is not short of hardwood resources.There is brilliant prospect for the plantation of rapid growth trees such as eucalyptus and aspen.There are necessity and possibility to accelerate the exploitation of hardwood for paper making.
