In this paper,a video recording system which is based on MPEG-1 standards is designed and implemented, the system is composed of the embedded control module DIMM-PC/520IU and the video processing chip SZ1510. the paper＇s content include the general function and structure of the system, the designing of core hardware module and the designing of video recording system software.
