摘要
对国外最新的有关乳酸乳杆菌、双歧杆菌和干酪乳杆菌等不同种属的益生菌对人体健康益处的大量报道、临床应用和相关研究进行了归纳和总结。对于益生菌以及益生菌产品类型进行了简单的介绍,报告了目前主要被广泛使用的益生菌乳酸乳杆菌属和双歧乳杆菌属的种类和繁殖培养条件。重点阐述了各种不同种类的益生菌在帮助人体抗诱变影响、抗癌变特性、提高乳糖新陈代谢、降低血清胆固醇和增加人体免疫系统抵抗力等方面所具有的各种功效和作用。
A number of health benefits have been claimed for probiotic bacteria such as L. acidophillus, Bifidobacterium spp., and L. casei. These benefits include antimutagenic effects, anticarcinogenic properties, improvement in lactose metabolism, reduction in serum cholesterol and immune system stimulation. Because of the potential benefits, these organisms are increasingly being incorporated into dairy foods, particularly yoghurt.
