摘要
21世纪所需要的英语人才是具有创新能力的人才。本文就高等院校应该如何培养学生的创新能力这个问题从以下四个方面进行了探讨:改变原有的"专才教育",进行"通识"和"通才"教育;改变原有的教学方式,培养学生的创造性思维;更新教学内容,完善课程设置;培养学生的人文素质。
What the twenty - first century needs are the talents with creative quality. How should universities cultivate creative English majors？ The present paper discusses the problem from the following four aspects： Firstly, change the specialized personnel edu- cation into the education of multi -disciplinary and comprehensive talents; Secondly, change the original way of teaching and try to cultivate students＇ creativity; Thirdly, replace the teaching content and perfect curriculum design; Fourthly, cultivate humanities.
