摘要
聚苯乙烯泡沫塑料(EPS)作为一种超轻质材料,具有一定的强度和稳定性,用于路堤填筑工程可以显著地减少路堤引起的地基沉降和对桥台台背产生的侧土压力,提高地基稳定性,是解决桥头跳车病害的一种新方法。介绍EPS材料特性,并结合工程实例介绍其在软土地基桥头跳车防治中的应用。
As a kind of super-light material, EPS （expanded polystyrol） has rather high strength and chemical stability. It can be used in embankment filling to reduce roadbed settlement and lateral pressure on bridge piles. It can also increase roadbed stability remarkably to solve vehicle bumping at bridge-head. Material characteristics of EPS are introduced in this paper. Based on actual project, application of EPS is introduced in vehicle bumping at bridge-head treatment of soft soil foundation in expressway.
