Objective:To study the effect of Buspirine patch on antianxiety in mice. Methods:The effect and maintained time of Buspirion patch on antianxiety with stress-induced by hyperthermia, staircase test and prolonging immobility phase in tail suspension of mice were observed. Results:Compared with the control group, the dose of Buspirine patch group B and C (30,60 mg/kg)showed significant decrease on stress-induced hyperthermia in mice(P 〈 0.05 ,P 〈 0, 01 ), Buspirine patch group A( 15 mg/kg)and C when compared with the control group showed significant statistical difference( P 〈 0.05 ,P 〈 0.01 ) Buspirine patch group B and C were compared with the control group and showed significant statistical difference (P 〈 0.05, P 〈 0.01 ). The total ladder climbing of group B, when cmpared with the control group, showed sigfificant statistical difference(P 〈 0.01 ). The rearing time and frequency of Buspirine patch was shortened compared with the control group. Buspirine patch in group B and C significantly increased the immobility phase time in tail suspension with significant difference when compared with that of the control group ( P 〈 0.01 ). The twisting times of Buspirine patch group C showed significant statistical difference( P 〈 0.05 ) ,when compared with that of the control group. Buspirine patch 100 mg/kg maintained effect for 120 min. Conclusion: Buspirine patch has significant antianxiety effect. The best dosage is 60 mg/kg, and maintaining effect is 120 min.
