Lin Zexu was not only a Chinese national hero who fought against the invasion of some western countries, but also a great and romantic poet. His poems about his domestic affairs present the rhythm of harmonious beauty to us with the loyalty to his emperor, the love to his love and the affection to his children. This emotional beauty reflected from his poems is exerting an edifying influence on us.
