摘要
词汇记忆是英语学习的一个重要组成部分，是掌握一切语言技能的基础。有效的记忆词汇策略是影响词汇学习质量的重要因素。谈文通过对我国中西部中学生所使用的英语词汇学习策略进行问卷调查，结果发现：中学生使用了多种英语词汇记忆策略。并且呈现出多样性、阶段性和性别差异性的特征。
Memorizing vocabulary is an important part in English learning and the basis of mastering all language skills. Efficient memory strategies are main factors influencing the quality of English vocabulary learning. Through our investigation on the memory strategies of English vocabulary of the middle school students in the middle and west China ,we find the following results： the middle school students have made all kinds of memory strategies and their strategies are various, developmental and sexually different.
