随着信息技术的快速发展,图书馆的生存与发展面临前所未有的挑战。图书馆的功能拓展和演变:从强调"藏"转变为强调"用",再发展为强调"传",即更加注重"传递"以实现信息资源的最大利用和共享。自动化、数字化、网络化亦即图书馆的现代化是图书馆发展的大趋势。适应这种发展趋势,必须加强理论研究和实践探索。
Today＇s library is facing unprecedented challenges with the speedy development of information technology.
